CASE #022: The MindGym Experience Part 3

I was glad I decided to take the on-site review. Medyo pricey nga lang siya pero it was worth every peso I paid. Hindi matatawaran iyong buong experience. Iyong buong journey na pinagdaanan naming lahat na magkakabatchmates.


Una na sa lahat, hindi ka mag-isa. Sa lahat ng stress, anxiety, paranoia, at lahat ng kabaliwan na maaaring mangyari sa iyo dala ng pressure, lahat iyon may kasama ka. Every single step of the way. Kapag hindi mo na kaya, andiyan ang mga kabatchmates reminding you na "Tiwala lang!" "Push lang!"

Kapag tingin mo kulang ka pa ng kaalaman, the batchmates are there to share with you their additional information, their selfmade reviewers, their notes, their screenshots, their photo of the presentation. Pati post its, lapis, ballpen at lahat ng school supplies na kailangan mo.

You need not worry about food dahil sa baba ng NATCCO Building maraming karinderya. Meron ding Ate Girl na pwede kang magpareserve ng pagkain pagpasok mo pa lang sa building. At kung walang-wala ka talaga, your batchmates are generous enough to share their food with you. Iyong iba nga talagang pang buong barangay ang baon para lang makapagshare.

You feel tired? Your batchmates are there to make you laugh kahit hindi mo na maintindihan ang Algebra. What's best is, may mga Math majors kang ka-batch who would gladly teach you and explain things you don't understand. On-call sila and you can message them any time. Meron ding Science majors who are willing to give you a crash course in Chemistry and Science for free. Coaches also go out of their way to join study groups basta libre sila.

If you are living far from MindGym, the MindGym family would gladly welcome you in their building. Pwede ka matulog sa MindGym office for a minimal fee. They will provide you with mattresses, allow the use of their bathroom, and allow the use of their air-conditioning unit.

I have one batchmate who hails all the way from Lopez, Quezon. He travels more than 6 hours every weekend just to attend the review classes. Meron ding mga taga-Batangas, Laguna, Bulacan, at may lumuwas pa all the way from Mindanao.


Wala kang pamasahe? Your batchmates are more than willing to pitch in for you. Pwede rin mangutang pero make sure babayaran mo lang.


May mabigat kang pinagdadaanan? Unload and share them to your batchmates. Magugulat ka sa outpour ng encouragement, inspirational words, and even prayers. Kahit sa mga ka-batch mo na hindi mo naman ka-close at kilala mo lang sa mukha.

I have one batchmate who is scheduled for a heart surgery. Gusto lang talaga niya makapag-LET muna at pumasa because she really dreams to be a teacher. Anuman daw ang mangyari sa kanya after her surgery, at least she was able to live long enough to an LPT. We were really in tears as we hug her, pat her back, held her hand, and tell her: "Yes, you can!"

My LET journey was truly an amazing one. It was even made more wonderful of the friends I have made and the family that cared for me at MindGym. Tama nga iyong sinabi sa blog ng isa kapwa ko MindGym alumna: "If your goal is to FAIL , then do NOT go to MindGym."


Pero kung hindi ka naman talaga palarin, don't fret. Try and try until you succeed. MindGym is still there to offer review for free. Iyon nga lang you will have to use the materials that you have from the last time. Kung gusto mo nung updated, you will have to buy a new set from them.


Ina-update rin kasi ng MindGym ang materials nila every LET season. May debriefing kasi after the exam day. You are free to drop by the MindGym office para mag-unload ng stress. And also to share the questions na natatandaan niyong nahirapan kayong sagutin. This is to help new reviewees na rin.


At hindi pa riyan nagtatapos ang lahat. Kasama mo ang MindGym sa pagmonitor ng results. They also give updates kung lumabas na ang results through their Facebook pages. May victory party rin ang lahat ng passers kapag lumabas na ang resulta ng LET.


Yes. MindGym also celebrates your success. Reunion na rin ito with other batchmates. Masaya kasi makikita mo na halos lahat kayo pumasa. After all the hardwork, it's time to party!
