CASE # 010: Holy Week at Tagaytay Part 6

Image
It was my second time to wake up in Tagaytay. The temperature was much chillier than the day before and there was a light drizzle outside. The little volcano was hiding behind the clouds. It seemed a bit sad that day maybe because we were off to say goodbye. We were on our third day and nearly concluding our 3 days 2 nights trip. We were all a bit slow and hazy for the day. I checked my phone to see any updates from Ms. Julie about the swimming pool. But there was none. We then finally decided to permanently strike out swimming in our To Do List. The weather is so cold, and the kids are feeling feverish anyways. We stayed in bed a little longer savoring what was left of that wonderful weather. We cooked what was left of our breakfast food and drank our coffee. The kids have their milk. Then we sat down the balcony again looking at the lake. We all wanted to mesmerize the moment. In a matter of hours, we would be going back to reality. Back to the busy and horrible rush hour...

Sumakay kami ng jeep from ZooRI to Mahogany Market (Php8.00 each). When we got to Mahogany, umakyat kami sa second floor nang mismong palengke dun sa meat section. There are food stalls lined up in the entire floor. All of them are offering Tagaytay's finest bulalo and tawilis plus other dishes that are worth trying as well. My favorite is Rommel's food stall. I have been to that place for a number of times already at during iba’t ibang taon pero h...

CASE # 008: Holy Week at Tagaytay Part 4

After ng pet show sa ZooRI, we proceeded sa main entrance ng zoo para abangan iyong staff that would lead us to the shuttle bus. We wanted to get the best seats so nakipag-unahan na rin kami. Nasa sampu rin siguro kami or higit pa. We waited a few more minutes bago dumating ang driver ng bus. Hindi aircon iyong bus so we relied on the open window and door for ventilation.

It was my first time to spend the night over at Tagaytay. Perfect! Just the way I imagined it to be. I normally wake up at around 6:00am at on ako naman ako nagising. But our itinerary was quite for the day and time is of the essence. I practically dragged myself out of the bed, went to the bathroom then started heating up some water for coffee. Then Hubby woke up and the rest of the fam. While breakfast was being prepared, I tried going down the clubhouse to check if there was someone from the admin whom I could talk to. Unfortunately, it was too early and the receptionist does not come in until 9:00am and it was only 7:00am. Residence Inn Zoo Para sa mga bagets, our first stop for that day was the Residen...

We got off at Olivares Terminal at around 9:30am. We rode a jeep going to Picnic Grove. I know, we where supposed to eat at Mahogany Market first pero dahil magkabilang dulo ang Mahogany Market at Picnic Grove, I realized na sa Picnic Grove na lang dumiretso. May makakainan din naman siguro kami roon and at the same time we will save travel time. Pwede ring unli-tambay dun since ilang oras pa naman bago ang check in time namin. We paid the entrance fee of Php50.00 per head. Ang batang 6 years old ang below, I think libre ata. Either that or yung 4 ft. pababa. I have been to Picnic Grove a couple of times...
